1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit. They are widely used to make websites function reliably, to remember your preferences between visits, and to provide website operators with information about how pages are used.
Cookies do not contain executable code and cannot access other files on your device. They can only be read by the website that set them (or, where applicable, a named third-party service).
2. Cookies We Use
Essential Cookies
Always active — cannot be disabled
These cookies are required for the website to operate. They include the cookie that remembers your cookie consent choice, and any session-management cookies that keep your session intact as you browse. The website cannot function properly without them.
Examples: cookieConsent (consent preference, localStorage), session token
Analytics Cookies
Optional
Help us understand how visitors use our website — which pages are visited, how long visitors spend on each page, and where they arrive from. This information is used in aggregate and is not linked to any individual. We use this to improve the content and structure of our website.
Examples: Google Analytics (_ga, _gid), page-view counters
Preference Cookies
Optional
Remember choices you make when you visit our website — such as your preferred language or region — so you do not need to re-enter them on a subsequent visit.
Examples: language preference, region setting
Marketing Cookies
Optional
Used to understand the effectiveness of any outreach or promotional activity we may carry out. We do not serve advertising, and these cookies are not used to build advertising profiles or track you across other websites for commercial purposes.
Examples: referral source tracking, campaign performance
3. Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies on our website are set by third-party services. We do not control these cookies and they are subject to the privacy policies of those services:
- Google Analytics — website usage statistics (analytics cookies, optional)
- Google Maps — embedded map on our homepage (may set a session cookie when the map is loaded)
We do not embed social media trackers or advertising network scripts on our website.
4. Cookie Duration
- Session cookies — exist only while your browser is open; deleted automatically when you close it
- Persistent cookies — remain on your device for a set period. Our consent preference cookie is retained for 12 months. Google Analytics cookies are typically retained for 13 months.
5. Your Cookie Preferences
Use the controls below to manage which optional cookies you allow. Your choices are saved to your browser and will apply to future visits.
