These Terms and Conditions govern your enrolment in and attendance of programmes offered by Bractel Pte Ltd ("Bractel", "we", "us", or "our"), and your use of our website at www.bractel.live. Please read them carefully before submitting an enrolment enquiry or completing a booking.
By proceeding with an enrolment or using our website, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms.
1. Definitions
- "Bractel" means Bractel Pte Ltd, a company registered in Singapore, with registered address at 50 Raffles Place, #37-00, Singapore Land Tower, Singapore 048623.
- "Programme" means any reading programme, workshop, or educational course offered by Bractel, whether described on our website or in separate programme materials.
- "Participant" means any individual who enrols in a Programme.
- "You" means the Participant, or the person submitting an enquiry or completing an enrolment on behalf of a Participant.
- "Materials" means any reading binders, summary cards, worksheets, guides, scenario cards, vocabulary booklets, or other printed or digital items provided by Bractel in connection with a Programme.

2. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting an enrolment enquiry, completing a booking, or using our Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you should not proceed with any enrolment or use of our Website.
Our Programmes are intended for adults aged 18 and over. Participants in our reading and workshop Programmes are typically aged 40 and above, in keeping with the educational focus of our content.
3. Description of Our Programmes
Bractel offers reading-led educational programmes and discussion workshops focused on financial literacy topics relevant to adults in Singapore. Current Programmes include:
- Late-Career Reading Programme — a ten-week cohort reading programme covering CPF Life, SRS, drawdown vocabulary, and household planning language. S$640 per participant.
- Family Finance Conversations Reading Workshop — a weekend workshop on dialogue frameworks for household financial conversations across generations. S$190 per participant.
- Personal Document Reading Workshop — a two-day weekend workshop on reading common Singapore household financial documents. S$280 per participant.
All Programmes are educational in scope. Bractel does not provide financial advice, investment recommendations, or regulated financial services of any kind. Programme content is designed to support reading comprehension and conversational fluency, not to guide financial decisions.
Programme schedules, cohort sizes, venues, and session formats are published separately and may be updated from time to time. We reserve the right to adjust Programme content and scheduling where reasonably necessary.
4. Enrolment
Enrolment is subject to availability. Submission of an enquiry or expression of interest does not constitute a confirmed booking. A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment and a written confirmation from Bractel.
- Cohorts for the Late-Career Reading Programme are limited to twelve (12) participants
- We reserve the right to decline an enrolment enquiry at our discretion
- Where a Programme is oversubscribed, we will maintain a waiting list and contact you if a place becomes available
- You are responsible for ensuring that the Programme is appropriate for your needs before enrolling
5. Payment & Fees
- All fees are quoted and payable in Singapore Dollars (SGD)
- Full payment is required to confirm enrolment
- Accepted payment methods will be communicated at time of booking
- Programme fees include any printed Materials stated in the Programme description
- Fees do not include travel, accommodation, or any personal expenses
- Bractel reserves the right to revise fees for future cohorts; changes will not affect confirmed bookings
6. Cancellation & Refunds
Cancellation by Participant:
- Cancellations received in writing more than 14 calendar days before the Programme start date: full refund, less an administrative fee of S$30
- Cancellations received 7–14 calendar days before the Programme start date: 50% refund
- Cancellations received fewer than 7 calendar days before the start date: no refund
- Transfers to a future cohort may be offered at Bractel's discretion, subject to availability
Cancellation by Bractel:
- If Bractel cancels a Programme, you will be offered a full refund or transfer to a future cohort
- Bractel is not liable for any additional costs (including travel or accommodation) incurred by Participants in connection with a cancelled Programme

7. Participant Responsibilities
- Participants are expected to engage respectfully with facilitators and other cohort members
- Reading materials are distributed in advance; participants are expected to read each chapter before the relevant session
- Recording of sessions by participants is not permitted without prior written consent from Bractel
- Participants agree to use Materials for personal educational purposes only and not to reproduce, distribute, or share them commercially
- Bractel reserves the right to remove a Participant from a Programme where their conduct is disruptive to others; no refund will be issued in such circumstances
8. Intellectual Property
All Programme Materials, website content, programme structures, and associated intellectual property remain the property of Bractel or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Materials for your personal educational purposes during and after the Programme.
You may not reproduce, publish, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from any Bractel Materials without prior written consent.
9. Disclaimers
Bractel's Programmes are educational reading programmes. They are not a substitute for professional financial, legal, or tax advice. Nothing in any Programme, Material, or communication from Bractel constitutes financial advice, investment advice, or a recommendation to take any particular financial action.
Bractel does not hold a financial adviser's licence or any regulated financial services licence in Singapore. Participants should seek independent professional advice for their specific financial circumstances.
Our Website and Materials are provided on an "as is" basis. We make no representations about the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any content for any particular purpose.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Singapore law, Bractel's total liability to you in connection with any Programme or use of our Website shall not exceed the fees you paid for that Programme.
Bractel is not liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental, or special loss, including loss of income, loss of opportunity, or any financial loss arising from any decision made in connection with Programme content.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under Singapore law.
11. Termination
These Terms apply from the point of your enrolment enquiry and continue for as long as you are enrolled in a Programme or using our Website. Bractel may suspend or terminate your access to any Programme in the event of a material breach of these Terms. Clauses relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability survive termination.
12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be referred to informal resolution by written notice. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes may be referred to the Singapore Mediation Centre or, if necessary, to the courts of Singapore, which shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
13. General Provisions
- Entire agreement: These Terms, together with any Programme confirmation, constitute the entire agreement between you and Bractel
- Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force
- Waiver: Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision
- Assignment: You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without Bractel's written consent
- Changes to Terms: We may update these Terms from time to time; the revised version will be posted on our Website with an updated effective date
